We got some more gardening done yesterday...transplanted several varieties of mint from pots into their own discrete garden bed, planted some perennials (lupins, penstemons and aquilegias), into the flower gardens, and saved the poor little freesia - it is now safely settled between a fuchsia and an azalea and won't have to battle with the mint to survive. The garden should look pretty once things get settled and the weather warms up...still need the mulch.as the drough is continuing. The need for water conservation was unknown to me when I was a child, there was always plenty of rain where we lived, but is a fact of life for us all now.
I have been knitting a few things, a small throw on looong circular needles, a Noddy toy and some more socks, but having to take things a bit slow, arthritic wrists, elbows and shoulders are setting the agenda these chilly days...
We will be meeting Sarah and Karina for dinner at a favourite Japanese restaurant, so treats are lined up for most of the day. I still have to decide on a cake...
Bye now,
Di
