Enough of the weather...
Sarah asked if I could make her a barbeque box card for one of her clients, so I got in this morning and cut it out and put it together ...just need to find a sheet of cuttable red (my Brother SNC is tres touchy when it comes to paper), and it will be good to go.
I have been searching for a size of cellophane bags suitable to contain the box cards...couldn't find any at our local stores so finally sent off to Melbourne to an online supplier and purchased a bundle. Guess what...the next day we went to our local Shiploads to pick up a couple of things...walked by the crafty section as one does, and there they were, larger than life! These things are sent to try us, aren't they? (and they do!) Still, I won't run out for while thats for sure, and I will be able to use them when I make a larger than normal card.
Photo from Simon in NSW this morning. Spencer, who is about to reach the grand age of TWO in a few days, was regretting that he is not allowed to wear spectacles when both his brothers go off to school each morning wearing theirs. Simon and Mel removed the lenses from an old pair and here he is...looking very serious about things.
bye now,
Di
