Scrapbook Boutique has another cupcake confection challenge on, such a gorgeous photograph, it's quite irresistible. So I have made another quite OTT card to celebrate an anniversary for an older couple I know. You know the drill, lots of flowers, texture, pearls, pinks, dimension and chocolate et al...when I saw what I had made, again, (my cards mostly just happen, despite my resolve to PLAN), I decided I would have to also try to interpret it in a much more C&S way...I'm still working on that one...I will keep you posted. Here is a photograph of the anniversary card. The background looks quite charcoal grey here, in reality it is a nice rich chocolate and a good foil for the copper embossing. The enamel dots on the daisies are a light pink, not as pallid as here. Once again, it's a dull overcast day here, so no good natural light for the photographs. :( I made my fishing brother a little rowboat box to contain a few Easter treats for tomorrow, Easter Sunday. A couple of months ago he mentioned salted caramels, saying he wondered what they were like and that he'd not tasted them...I stirred him up a batch this morning and will deliver them to him this evening as we are going there for dinner. It's very yummy, by the way, just in case you were wondering...we, (our immediate family), have all stopped including sugar in our diet where possible, so tasting the crumbly bits seems extra naughty...I'm wondering though how long the left-over caramel will last? I must get it packaged up and given away before we all back-peddle on our good intensions. It's a bit strange, a sugar-free Easter, but we are better off without it...I'm sure...(sighs). Well, I had another go at the challenge, and moved as far away from sugar as was possible, well almost. Here is my effort. Mmmm... Thanks for visiting, Di Items I used for the card but not included below: PTI Happiness in Bloom dies, Beautiful Blooms II dies, Kaisercraft Precious Moments 12" paper pad.

OM Gee, No Sugar, my heart feels for ya.. of course I know it's evil but.... lets put it this way, the caramel would be gone lol. You know this flowery beauty will be cherished and your brother must be extra special because I've never seen a papercrafted boat before and it's incredible Di!

Wow they're both so different and both very special Di. Love all the sweet textured flowers on the first and the scribbly shapes on the second. Also what a great little boat full of easter goodies - love it. Hope you had a lovely Easter Sunday.
