I almost always have trouble with single layer cards but know that if I use some of my stamps as a background I will be able to produce single layer cards of some interest whenever I want. Just using colour on the chosen stamps can look very effective. I am a purist regarding single layer cards though...I think I would even find using embossing on a card sailing a little close to the definition wind! But that's just me...others I notice seem to pile on the embellies, sequins and all sorts of things and still see it as a single layer...so it is simply a matter of interpretation and all the better for that!
Well, that's it from me...I need to complete an assignment and I am beginning to wonder if it is such a great idea to have my computer in the same room with my crafty stuff...it is too easy for me just to womble off and start a card or progress one of my journals, or try a technique or anything really, rather than settle down to some work!
Focus, focus!
Oh, is that a White-Eye? Where is my bird book...
See what I mean?
Bye now,
