I covered the card board box with brown wrapping paper, used a little reinforcing over the joins between the front and back and the spine and cut the covers from some paper scraps from the bin. A little distressing with Distress Ink and I have managed to tidy up a pile of photographs of pets which range from when I was a small child until our last remaining old chap, Pig.
Tim has been digitalising our photographs for the past few years but we have retained the old prints in a large plastic bin...somehow it's hard to toss them out, all those lovely images of things past...and it is sometimes nice to pick up something a little more tactile than a digital display device...
I decided that a small journal would be just the ticket for various groups of photographs, not all, just the children, animals and a few close family events...once I have done those the remainder can all go.
Bye now,
Di
