Well, that's it from me...
Bye for now,

,
Well, it wasn't all easy! But it is done...I have 4 panels, one for each of my crafty spirit lifters. The panels each measure 23.5 x 16.5 cm, (9 1/4 x 6.5 inches, approx.). I made them to fit in an altered book, with a hidden spiral binding. I have bound the pages, using a 3/4 inch O wire, and made a video, all I need do now is link it to CreaBoetiek's blog.. I had fun with this one...for Renje of CreaBoetiek...I tried to use some of her techniques in obviously a limited way, but to have a girl with a green face and a sleeveless orange dress was very liberating. (Is that me when I was a girl?). I included a couple of winged things and some words, as they are part of what she does so beautifully...BTW, I popped it back under the Webster before I bound the pages and it is much flatter now! This one is for Jen of Jenofeve Designs. I like her recycle and use-what-you-have philosphy, but very sadly the icing skills I learned when helping my mother ice my sisters wedding cake many many many moons ago have fled...I did my best and it is what it is...it is still a great idea for adding texture...I just need to practice (in private). And lastly, but certainly not least, is this simple panel for Therese of LostinPaper. This was the easiest for me to do as I mainly make cards, after all...she has taught me so much in regard to cardmaking...I have incorporated just a few of those aspects here, The simplicity of open white space, the importance of gold, the effectiveness of the little black sentiment banner and introduced me to Purple Onion Stamps and the joy of Stacy Yacula's images...there is heaps more but keeping it clean, simple and uncluttered is also a trademark of hers...so I did too. I have linked the images above to their respective web sites or You Tube channels. Just click on the image if you'd like to visit any of my spirit lifters, and their site will open for you in a new page. Here is the video... Thanks so much Renje, this has been a very spirit lifting exercise...I have enjoyed it immensely.
Well, that's it from me... Bye for now, Di
