I also found a few card photographs that I had not included in Inky Bits and Pieces so I popped them in. I really need to concentrate now on improving my photography...think I may have said that before.
The Brother Scanncut has not appeared...I had hoped that the long weekend would have it on my doorstep, but no parcels have arrived today.
I have been working on the wedding anniversary box card that a friend requested last week, playing in Inkscape and the Brother software just in case it arrives but time is running out...he needs it by the end of this week.
It's not a complete waste however: I do like things that challenge me to explore programmes I haven't used much in the past, keep the neurons ticking, at least I hope so anyway! Mind you, i hardly look at excel these days so I suppose it all balances out in the long run.
We have had a pretty wet and windy long weekend here in Southern Tasmania. We live in a small town East of Hobart that is reached by a couple of causeways. Yesterday when we traveled towards town we experienced quite a salt water drenching and felt very sorry for a young dog tethered in the back of a ute ahead of us, and a motorcyclist riding towards the spray. Chris found this image on the ABC site... A wind surfer was out making a very speedy transit of the bay as we passed, I bet his arms are sore today!
